dell farm was cool thank u

i loved dell farm, my favorite thing was rock climbing with everybody. the animals are friendly beauty the donkey kept making me laugh when we were getting sprayed with the water gun. i would love to go back there again. it was exciting and fun all the time.

Hello everyone,

I had a wonderful time at dell farm and i already miss the animals,
although it was last week it seems like a year ago.I still feel annoyed that my digital camera HAD to run out of battery on the way up on to Ivinghoe Beacon! The Canal was great, (although i found crossing the locks scary at first). Climbing was great even though it gave every one a massive wedgie! I enjoyed Caving aswell as climbing,
i was planning to just stay in the main chamber, but i managed to do Tunnel one with and without torches, Tunnel two with torches, and Tunnel three (Cave of Doom) i tried, but i came back out with my team.The Ivinghoe water mill was fascinating, specially when the bag of corn had to go through the trapdoors, i was suprised at the sightings of the old mill ghost.


I hope Abigail, Fiona, Pheobe, Shortcake, Jane, Caramel, piggies, Benny and Dougal are all doing GREAT!

I also hope that all the birds at Dell Farm are doing GREAT!
I'm sure that the guinea pigs and bunnies are fine, (ESPECIALLY STUNTBUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I hope I get another chance to come to Dell Farm !
I am planning to maybe hold a birthday party there.........

Thank you for all of the activities. My favorite activity was the 'Cave of Doom', my favorite tunnel was Tunnel 3.

I like stroking the baby goats. I miss Randell and the baby goats and all the other animals as well.

My grand daughter Lillith May is coming to Dell Farm with Hillborough Junior School. My son (her Dad) James May went to Dell Farm in November 1979 - he had his 10th birthday there and the catering staff made him a cake for his birthday. In the early 1980s my daughter Harriet went and my son Oliver - all from Icknield Junior School. They all had a great time and I'm sure Lillith will too.

Thankyou Dell Farm for such a wonderful trip last month (9th-13th Feb 2009). All of our children had a great time, and are still talking about it. Their Learning Logs are crammed full of memories of their time with you.

All the activities were fantastic, but the animals were far and away their favourite part. They remember all the names... much better than I can!

I know that the memories they have of Dell Farm will stay with them always, made even more magical of course by the snow.

To everyone who works at Dell Farm .... A MASSIVE WAULUD PRIMARY "THANK YOU!" Your dedication and enthusiasm have left a positive impact on 31 terrific Luton kids.

Hi, I am Yasrin Begum I loved Dell Farm it was the most amazing trip ever!!!!!!!!!! My fave animals at Dell Farm were Mel ,Benny and Doogle.I loved caving,it was very scary when we went through the first tunnel without our torches!!!!!!!!!! Clibming was a hard one for me because i had my boots on. The food was lovely.I would like to say a never ending thank you to all the Dell Farm staff and animals!!!!!!!!!! just thought i'd pop a comment to say how great dell farm is.
I came when i was in year 5 so it's ages ago since I came as i'm in year 9. If my high school organised a trip here I would jump at the chance to relive this memory. Every avtivity was fun and a great new experience, all the the animals where great just to get up close so you get involved. So that's it really, so Dell Farm kepp doing what you're doing and you will make many more kids time there great.

I really enjoyed staying at Dell farm. Mr Hawrin and Mr Dockerill were really funny. When we went on the night walk it was scary especially when we went through the bull field with Mr Dockerill. I enjoyed the Cave of DOOM!! with Mr Dockerill,i really enjoyed tunnel 3 it was fun. Another thing i enjoyed was the rock climbing with Mr Deecon,it was fun and exciting. In the morning we groomed the Phonies and feed the donkeys i liked Dougle and Benny also i like Mel the Cow her hair was cute. Thank you Mr.Hawrin for letting us come also thank the cooks for giving us lovely food, and thank Mr Dockerill for helping us and showing us around the Farm. I had a really great time at dellfarm becuase I won Orienteering (cheetah).

Dellfarm was awsome!!! I really enjoyed I liked the Orienterring coz I and megan my patner won (cheeths). When we did the 50 whipsnade mile walk my jeans got so dirty that it is unbeliveable and the mud would NOT come off. When we did the archey I got it over very far. I really liked when we went to whipsnade becuase we saw the big girffe and when we went to the gift shop.

I came two years ago to dell farm and is was FAB!
I came from William austin and my little brother and sister came too and they loved it!
I am in high school now and we all made a yearbook back at william austin one of the memories that everyone had put down was Dell Farm, we all had a laugh I really missed, although we were away from home but i loved it!!!
To those who are going now I do recommend to you that please go, it is a trip that you will definetly will not forget like me!!!!! Hope to come back soon, byee my favourite was Beauty and Josephine xx

The staff were great ! The best part of it was caving because the obstacles and tunnels were very challenging. In all the experience was excellent. A brilliant place to go and stay.A very big thankyou to Mr Burgess and Ms Pillay at Denbigh Junior.

I really enjoyed Dell Farm, especially the walk to Ashridge and meeting Sally. Also seeing how a Watermill works. All the staff were great and I enjoyed being the door monitor and getting to hold all the new animals, like baby goats, rabbits, guinea pigs. I stroked a turkey. I also enjoyed the rock climbing wall!

I have happy memories of Dell Farm since spending 5 days there with my school (Pirton Hill Junior School, Luton) in 1981 !!!!

Can still remember the dormitory and our 'night walk' through the woods, had a great time and really pleased to see that it is still being enjoyed by the children.

From dowside junior school. I always look up on the guest book. I came to Dell farm nearly 3 or 4 years back. It was a great place to go. Some of the animals were very cute.

Thankyou for a wonderful visit in October, we enjoyed meeting the anmals and caving. We kept bumping our heads caving, but it was fun!

We also enjoyed the walk and map reading.

long long time ago i was at dell farm, from the trip i took when i was in y4 at hillborough junior school must have been 05 and it was the......BEST TIME OF MY LIFE the walks the animals the wellies football in the mud good times only problem was the first night was sleepless but the next days were great

Lambo is well but he is no longer here at Dell Farm. He moved to a new home at the start of July where he is going to be very well looked after.

Dell farm was really good, that was the first time i have been. I liked all the animals, some of them were nice and were nicer. I would love to go again if i had the chance to, and it was the BEST trip ive been on

Dear dell farm staff it was a lovely stay when I went with st.matthews primary school I really enjoyed Caving & Climbing . I thought feeding the animals was superb , I really miss Lambo and Winnie . I need to ask you a question did winnie eat a human ?'cause my friend meher-ul-nissah she said he did I don't believe , by the way the meals were lovely I sometimes wish I was still at dell farm . hi mr. Deaconi had a great time at dell farm the best animal is randy. the worst bit was the mousaka i hated that. i got stuck in the cave on tunnel 3. i had 3 left to complete all ten of the signs in orienteering. it was tiring. i can't come june 10th i came home on the 20th april

I had a nice time at Dell Farm i especially liked the newborn lambs that had been rejected from their mother. I also enjoyed climbing the rock climbing wall. I wished i could have had longer at the farm and had chance to do the caving. I enjoyed feeding the animals and the pig was the biggest one i have ever seen!! Thank you to all the Dell Farm staff...

Oh my goodness Dell Farm! I was there about 26 years ago and now my son Brandon is going on the 19th March. If he had half the fun i did he's in for a treat. I still remember being butted by Maginty(?) the goat!! serves me right for putting straw up its nose! Loved the night walk too!! Keep up the good work.

Hi, I came to dell farm when I was 10 and now I am 13 and I can still remember the wonderful time I had at dell farm. If I get another chance to go I will definitely go .

In our school we get to go dell farm in year 5 and I am in year 3. I cant wait until I get to year 5. All of my sisters have been and I will definitely go !!!!!!! I cant wait and my sisters told me there are two dogs, Sally and Dizzy and there is no picture of dizzy . Why ?

How I remember when I came to Dell Farm in Year 5, now I'm in Year 8. I miss all the animals!

Dellfarm was fantastic. I like when we went on a night walk and to the zoo.

I loved Dell Farm, it was the best place ever, I liked Abby because she always got her head stuck in the fence and she thought she was a human. The rock climbing and the cave were brilliant and I would love to come back again if I could.

HIYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i went to Dell Farm 7 years ago with St Josephs Juniors and i had a wicked time! my favourite animal was Elizabeth the pig but shes probably not there now :( we went in the winter time so we had hot lemon and they made us feel very welcome! best time to go!! never will forget the experience!! vicky xxx

dell farm is 1 of the best places i've been 2 in my live, i would love to come back and see u all again.on the first day we had lots of water games and miss carney said it was the first people she had done it with.On the last day when we went on the BIG walk sally the dog rolled in a dead animal and she really smelled but then when we got back to the vans to have a picnic miss carney washes sally then sally came over and soaked us all. Had a brillant time love lucy age 10x-x-x-x-x-

Hi all, 28 years ago I had my first experience as a young child at dell farm with my local junior school, this year it was a pleasure to return as an adult supervising year R children on a day visit with the school that I now work in. It was a truly wonderfuly day and all the staff that I met were very friendly and helpful in many ways. It was nice to look back at familiar surroundings (no it had not changed that much, especially good to see the well and the familiar tale of that cat oh yes that cat how I remember the tale so well. Thank you once again for a wonderful day and no doubt I shall be returning with a new group of children to experience the delights of Dell Farm x

Dell Farm was the best trip ever.I liked all the animals and teachers. All the walks were fun especially the last one.It was good because I thought I saw my rabbits mum who is now called snowy.

we want to no how did the baby rabbit die was it in pain?
Reply: The baby rabbit just wasn't very well and was too small and young to be able to fight off the illness. He died in his sleep so he wouldn't have been in pain. Sometimes there isn't anything you can do to help appart from making them as comfortable and happy as possible. At least that is what he got while he was here. Thank you for caring for him.

I'm going to Dell Farm in 2 weeks. I've seen pictures of the place and information about the night walk and I'm a bit scared...What is the timetable? I was told that once people got to bed at 11pm. WHAT? But, I am looking forward to it.
Reply: Do not worry, by the time you guys are out here the night walk will be more of an evening walk because it is light for the whole time we are out. It's just good fun!!

I liked holding the baby rabbit {the white one with light brown patches} in the barn. It was so fluffy and soft, it also fell asleep in my arms. I have never groomed a pony/ donkey before and iIhave never held a kitten before. I had never stroked a cow before so say hello to Caramell for me. Thank you for letting me try new things.

Dell Farm was sick and wicked ! i been there 4 times in 3 years ! HOW LUKY ! I HATED THE ANIMALS AND THE DOG SALLY! just jokes. thanks to da teachers who took us tobogganing and rock climbing.

Dell Farm was fantastic . I liked feeding the animals. The baby rabbits were one of my favourites I liked cuddling them. Also telling stories to my friend on the walk was fun. I would like to stay again. (Sundon Park Junior School)

Thank you for a lovely week. The food was excellent, the staff were helpful and kind. I enjoyed feeding the animals and playing in Wellieball Stadium. All the activities were challenging, including going up the hill, but I made it in the end.

hi had a really good time this week. Thank you for helping us to have a wicked time. The scary walk was really good at night the well story was good as well. reply: yes all the animals are fine including Dougal and the donkeys. They havent been groomed as much this week so they may even be missing you!

Dell Farm is really cool because we practically take care of the animals ourselves.

Dellfarm is so fun because Whipsnade zoo is five minutes
away and you do lots of activites TRY IT.

I've come to stay at Dell Farm and I love it. There are rabbits, dogs called Sally and Sprocket. The pony is really beautiful and the pig is gigantic. There is also a billy goat that wees on his head to attract the girls!

The baby goats were too good to sell for 1,000,000 pounds. The family of donkeys were all different colours, which it is hard to believe. If Dell Farm is ever closed, I would die of sadness. On 22nd we'll be there for the fun day.
